A crucially important summer for Everton has already started to pick up pace in early June, with the Toffees already reportedly interested in a number of players. There was news this week stating the inevitable departure of Dominic Calvert-Lewin (DCL), as well as the ongoing negotiations with Idrissa Gana-Gueye and Seamus Coleman.
Due to the departure of DCL, Everton are reportedly looking at bringing in another striker.
According to GETFootball, Everton have submitted a bid of around £30 million for Villareal Striker, Thierno Barry.
The French striker scored 11 times in La Liga last season, and has a release clause of around £40 million in his contract, which Everton may choose to activate.

However, at such a high price tag, there are surely other options the Blues could be looking at.
According to Irish Times Sport, Everton hold an interest in Brighton striker Evan Ferguson.
The Irishman will be allowed to leave the Seagulls permanently this summer, for the right fee, after an unsuccessful loan spell at West Ham last season.
Alongside a striker, the Toffees also have a host of other positions they need to fill.
Players such as Walter Benitez from PSV as a back-up goalkeeper, Vladimir Coufal from West Ham and Alfie McAteer from Manchester City have all also been linked with moves to Merseyside this week.
